Formed in Brussels back in 2014, Luxembourg's Quantum Dot releases their alternative single "Breaking Bones." A luxurious exploration of atmospheric pop and unravelling electronic bass pulses, the single is a bold release from the band.
Uncovering a narrative that describes the terrible consequences that a man has to endure after breaking a woman's heart, the disturbing tales shares a dark, gritty element to Quantum Dot's songwriting style. With the track bringing singer-songwriter Thorunn Egilsdottir on board, "Breaking Bones" reveals itself to be a brooding number laced with repelling light and dark melodies. “We like the contrast between sound and meaning and we wanted to reflect that feeling in our music video” says the band.
Characterised with intricate pop and modern twists, "Breaking Bones" is only a taster of what's to come on the band's forthcoming EP Random Casualties out October 14th.
