Written, recorded and mixed in their own home studios, Kitua Fortune is a demonstration why the current music industry isn’t just about money. With their pure talent and a relaxed approach to songwriting, their music has gone on to achieve airplay on Radio 1 and has been described as the ‘next wave’ on the Indie Show.
The EP kicks off with an explosive touch of reverbs and chorus with the opening track "Daydream", which features lovely harmonies alongside sunset-like guitar licks and basslines. It sets the tone for the EP perfectly, and continues its journey of pleasing sounds from start to finish. Mellotrons, synths, gentle drums and attractive harmonies become something highly familiar throughout this EP – a sound that sticks with you in the best of ways. The title track, "Kitua Fortune" is more upbeat, and holds similarities to a Pond track though with a much more dreamy touch.
