Los Angeles via D.C. neo soul meets R&B singer/songwriter Harry Jay has just unveiled his latest single. Called "Moody," the emotive new track is a collaboration with Atlanta based songwriter and producer luke brown.

With "Moody," Harry Jay writes an intense narrative all about love and obsession. Being preoccupied with someone who is no good for you can make you feel despondent and depressed and with "Moody" Harry Jay contemplates that all too relatable experience.

Lyrics include, "I get so moody when you ain't around / I get so high but then you bring me down /I just need some therapy," further solidifying this narrative of toxic attachment. Musically, "Moody" is a downtempo atmospheric listening experience complete with soul -rich vocals, captivating melodies and haunting landscapes. Harry Jay's impressive vocal capabilities and ability to express deep emotions with every note is intoxicating and awe inspiring. luke brown's svelte-smooth vocals add further complexity to the track, adding another dimension of lust and heartbreak.

Harry Jay began playing the piano at the young age of five and at twelve began writing music. The Berklee College of Music graduate takes influence from the likes of Marvin Gaye, Steely Dan and Tupac. "Moody" is his seventh single leading up to his debut EP NOTHARRISON. Take a listen to "Moody" now and remember obsessive love is not healthy.
