NYC indie act NOSHOWS drops new single “So Mysterious,” built on their signature genre-blended sound bringing together hip-hop, pop, funk, jazz, and alt-rock, held together by high energy and reflective song writing.
On “So Mysterious,” the band explore the allure and infatuation with someone you’re not likely to ever see again. Rooted in frontman Max Satow’s lyrical style of drawing from personal experience yet crafting it into a universally relatable tale, the track’s central message is of “somewhat foolishly falling in love with just the idea of somebody.”
He explains the message behind the track,”The song is about randomly running into someone who feels like the one that got away after just one conversation, mostly because of their mysterious vibes. You’re blinded by your infatuation with this person and end up filling in the blanks, because you’ll likely never see them again.”
Having built a fervent fan base with their ability to bring people together through their conscious yet celebratory artistry, NOSHOWS continue to impress after having moved from a solo act to one that performs with a full band since early 2022.
