European record label Cafe De Anatolia drops a compilation of dynamic and versatile tracks from various artists blending seamlessly into a hypnotic listening experience on Sun. A down-tempo collection of fifteen tracks that shift soothing atmospheric productions to groovy anthems, the record has been crafted to capture the beauty of organic down-tempo in all its glory.

Opening with the gentle stylings and wispy backdrop of vocals of folktronica number “Touched” from IV-IN featuringAndreea Secrieriu, the album moves into the reverberant beats of Dan Bay’s“Kannakol,” glitchy ebbs soaring into lacerating highs.

The foreboding vibes of “Kannakol,” is the catchy grooves of “Samata,” from B.o.T followed by Lev Tatarov’s percussion-infused electro offering “Feel.”  While “Chayka,” from KYONGPAUL makes for a sensual anthem stocked with a sauve instrumentation punctuated by echoing beats, the folksy sensibilities of “Man O To,” from Narcisse, bring an organic yet danceable vibe to the collection.

These tracks bracket the atmospheric built of Morning Delusion and Kandar’s “Second Life,” which follow beat-led soundscape similar to “Ahmek,” from Nicolas Giordano,  Qaraqoom’s “ Gonoor,” Sytec and Oluba’s “Trilogy.”

The electro, house feels of the record take abrupt turns at certain points, infusing versatility with  the acoustic driven “Teniz,” from Papfay and piano-tinged sultriness of Vekt (RO) and Erika Szekely’s “Elegia.”

Sprinkles of the haunting instrumentation move into explosive powerhouse arrangement of penultimate track “Me Quedaria,” from Wanduta before closing out the tightly woven rhythms of “Zanzibar,” from Rialians On Earth.

Known from their accentuation and experimental approach to electronic music spanning genres such as Organic House, Chillout, Lounge, Electronica, and Organic Downtempo with oriental twists, Cafe De Anatoliahave established themselves as a fast-rising label with ability to craft music that strikes a chord with generations of music lovers.

This latest body of work,Sunis a culturally and sonic nuanced gift from Cafe De Anatolia, blending lost ethnic sounds and ancient instruments with modern touches of the electronic spectrum for a transportive and intricate musical journey.
