Breaking away from traditional and typical music genres we hear all too often, is composer and producer Relive. His new track "Golden Land" demonstrates a new concept of multi-instrumental music that's often mesmerising and guaranteed to place your thoughts in a different place.
Behind the immaculate sound of Relive is composer and multi-instrumentalist Alvaro Sardina, who has recently graduated in professional music studies from Aldofo Salazar music school in Madrid. His previous work has focused around unique, ambient compositions that have been used in multiple soundtracks – Now, with the Relive project, Alvaro is taking his classical and contemporary skills to a solo artist project for the first time.
Golden Lands demonstrates what Relive is all about – colourful textures, luscious drum grooves and jungle like sonics of Peruvian flutes coated with reverbs that place you somewhere in the Amazon rainforest. His music brings an eccentric sound that blends multiple genres with the aim of enlightenment – and Golden lands demonstrates just that.
It's a track that showcases an artist with a deep musical knowledge, there's an incomprehensible amount if instruments performing countless motifs throughout – yet there's a feeling of cohesion. Each element adds something to the blend, creating a piece that's drenched in expertise.
