Trizz and Mike Summers have shared a new single called "Summer Break." Trizz has released several projects with Chuuwee, and worked with artists such as Tech N9ne, Rittz, Brotha Lynch Hung, CunninLynguists, Bizarre (D12), Rob $tone, G Perico, and more. Mike Summers was a producer for the Strange Music label and produced tracks for Tech N9ne, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and Mac Miller to mention a few.
"Summer Break" is the title track from Trizz and Mike Summers' collaborative EP, and it makes for a perfect summer jam to ride down the streets with. The soundscape is crisp and exudes the classic West Coast hip-funk aesthetics with dreamy guitar riffs, cowbells, lush funky bass-lines, and soft drum grooves to boot. Trizz is in the mood to have fun and chill with his crew, and takes listeners on a trip down to his hood where he hangs out. Overall, the track is straight to the point with an easy-flowing backdrop, Trizz's detailed lyricism, carefree flow, and a simple hook to complete the job.
"Summer Break" is taken from Trizz and Summers' collaborative EP SUMMER BREAK: THE PREQUEL which serves as a precursor to the duo's forthcoming full-length LP.
