Estonian trio Cartoon comes together with pop punk act Bedwetters drops brilliantly anthemic “I’m Not Alright,” a lush mix of genres sweeping easily from enchanting indie, pop and rock to booming punk and rock, with explosive yet hypnotic touches of metal and psy-trance.

With lyrics that delve into depression and trying to cope with the weight of negative feelings crush down on you, the track is raw and honest letting us feeling our deepest emotions, but allows the power-packed soundscape to pull us away from the vulnerability and lose ourselves in the rhythmic beats.

The accompanying visual is brimming with vibrant, psychedelic feels that encapsulate the laid-back instrumentation while also balancing out the contemplative songwriting.

A track that pulls from personal experience but written with an uplifting edge that connects with anyone listening, “I’m Not Alright,” makes use of layered, danceable sonics alongside electro-tinged, melodic vocals that lead us into good times whenever we’re feeling down in the dirt.

Formed in 2015, and influenced by a classic combination of EDM and pop, Cartoon have grown quickly yet steadily with their ever-evolving productions that remain trendy yet timeless with a strong heart of drum and bass. This latest track sees them find confidence in featuring their own vocals to elevate their signature sound – turning up anticipation for whatever comes next.
