[VIDEO] Up Is The Down Is The share a glimpse of new album with "Dawn"

Alt-rock quartet Up Is The Down Is The share the first glimpse of their forthcoming album Pulling The Wool with single “Dawn,” a track inspired by feeling overwhelmed or stressed about a situation that you need to you inevitably embrace. Led by a slow-built R&B-infused electronic sound and husky female vocals, a foreboding vibe embodies the battles in our head as we head into moments we are dreading.

Accompanied by a cinematic music video, which sees two men with bunny heads roaming around a dying forest, “Dawn,” brims with a creatively disconnected narrative which works well to displace the relatable message of confronting that which we are trying to avoid.

Formed in 2015 by Andrew Martin, Up Is The Down Is The  have evolved into a genre-blend four-piece also consisting of Zach Sherwood, Cameron Brizzee and Casey Cathy, that manages to be minimalist yet expansive with their art-rock, R&B and electronic instrumentation connected by threads of poetic song writing – all of which we can expect will grace us with their upcoming album.
