The Perfumers drop anti-capitalist anthem "American Model"

Alt-pop trio The Perfumers swerve into rock stylings with “American Model,” a double-edged anthem airing their frustrations on American politics and calling for change while also empowering us not to be weighed down by the expectations put upon us by society.

With grand, echoing vocals melting into polished pop riffs, the track is the encouragement we all need to work together to build a better society for ourselves and the future generation. The contemplative message is framed by subtle yet power-packed rhythms that will have us up and moving along with it.

Advocating for climate change, anti-racism, and the LGBTQIA+ community while also encouraging us to embrace our unique identities, “American Model,” imbues individuality and unity all at once.

The Midwest American act consisting of Jordan Kortenber, Sayge Kortenber and Malakai Bisel, won a place for themselves in the pop scene with their first single in 2020. Since then and now, the three-piece continue their climb upwards with meaningful but energetic pop-rock soundscapes.
