MoonLander has shared his brand new hip-hop infused pop offering "Pour A Drink".
Introducing us to his raw vocal tones with the plucks of an electric guitar and hip-hop beats, it's instantly noticeable that MoonLander has a raw hybrid talent, penning pop melodies and infusing them with a smooth flow.
Chart-worthy but still with the trappings of an artist that has full control of their sound, "Pour A Drink" follows a string of singles that MoonLander's audience have relished and apparently Spotify too, with his previous single making it onto Spotify's Fresh Finds playlist.
The alias of Dillon Houston Church, MoonLander's sound is reminiscent of the likes of Kid Laroi and Logic, with an identity that embraces motivation and hope. It's clear that Dillon doesn't take himself too seriously though, with the new track being about letting go and relaxing. MoonLander further shares, “I was working on my album everyday and felt like I was working nonstop. I was thinking of the time I would be able to hangout carefree with my friends and pour a drink.”
The North Carolina artist is an addict of the live scene, having played over 85 shows in just two years. If his recordings are your jam then a live performance is a must-see. One thing is for sure: the only way is up.
