DMV rapper Kelow Latesha puts her energetic personality on full display for latest release, “Titanic.” The accompanying visual feels like a variety show equipped with costume changes and personas. Her lyrics challenge haters and provide an instant serotonin boost.

“Titanic,” has a playful trap beat. The rapper toggles between high pitched inflected vocals and casual bars. She raps, “Free the nipple, call it Janet. I love money, it’s romantic.” Featuring the late rapper, Goonew, the two artists serve witty verses with a boastful candor. The track has a unique SoundCloud rap vibe with the articulate flow of a chart-topping single.

Recently announced as SoundCloud’s "First on SoundCloud," Class of 2022, Kelow takes her connection with the platform’s listeners seriously. She describes, “I've been on SoundCloud from the start, and it's great to be recognized and working with "First on SoundCloud," to build connections and help more fans discover my music.” Through her lyricism and unique look, Kelow LaTesha brings a fresh perspective to the industry, challenging social norms and the constructs of mainstream success.

I am a digital marketer and publicist with a passion for A&R and music management. Originally from Southern California, I spent many years as a transplant in the Midwest in the St. Louis and Chicago areas. Now I am back in sunny Los Angeles. Besides my professional life, I enjoy music of all genres with a sweet spot for hip-hop/rap. I love my west coast rap and all things Tupac, Kendrick, Nipsey, etc. I am always down to go to a show, whether the venue be the smallest hole in the wall or the largest arena.
