Love Keyyz shares vivid new project 'I Could Be Dreaming'

Cincinatti, Ohio artist Love Keyyz has returned with her sophomore album I Could Be Dreaming. Keyyz, who started on YouTube performing covers before developing a passion for writing originals, builds on momentum from her recent single "Life Worth Living" with this new full-length project. Across 11 tracks, Keyyz delivers  passionate harmonies that illustrate a vivid love story that turns into a tragedy.

"Never Thought" opens the project with vibrant, smooth guitars drifting beneath evocative vocals from Keyyz. Showcasing her dynamic songwriting style, the track contrasts mellow, stripped-back verses with a grand, orchestral chorus featuring uplifting strings and rich vocal layers. "Tell Me" introduces a glossy, warm sound that draws influence from classic 90's R&B, while "You"'s graceful yet minimal production and elegant vocals draw the listener into the single's immersive ambiance. "Life Worth Living" uses sturdy, punchy drum grooves and wistful keys to create an emotive backdrop for Keyyz's addictive, heartfelt melodies.

Towards the second half of the record, the mood becomes darker with the nocturnal, ominous "3 Strikes" and the wintery "Find Myself Again", which finds Keyyz delivering some of her most poignant and ruminative lyrics. The project then closes out with "P.A.N.", which slows down the pace and finds her discussing heartbreak and mistrust in a potent, engaging manner.

I Could Be Dreaming almost feels like a double album, with a lighter, vivid first half followed by a colder, pensive second half. Of the LP, Keyyz herself says, "It’s sort of a Side A/Side B project. Heaven and hell, so to speak. 'I Could Be Dreaming' begins with songs about what real love feels like – that true, strong, seemingly unbreakable love. But, then it descends into the pain that derived from a relationship, and later ends with her healing process and growth. Love comes with a risk. We don’t always get our fairytale, and that’s okay. But, love is so amazing. Love is why life is worth living".

The latest from Cincinatti's Love Keyyz, I Could Be Dreaming finds her delivering a passionate, sharply-crafted set of 11 tracks containing engaging songwriting and emotive production.
