Rising underground super-producer Krohme returns with a three song maxi-single that sees him working with some legendary emcees who laid the foundation for hip-hop. The first cut "Line of Fire," features three of the most well-respected names in conscious Hip-Hop: Chuck D, Speech (from Arrested Development fame), and Brother Ali, the track also has Doug Wimbish of Living Color on the bass.

From the crunchy drum breaks, dusty guitar riffs, and pulsating bassline, to the engrossing lyrical display, listeners get entranced in the hypnotic groove. Brother Ali opens up the floor with his smooth flow and thoughtful rhymes on going back to one's origin, followed by the layered chorus by all parties involved. The veteran Chuck D shares his thoughts on a myriad of real-time issues from politics, to social constructs with his unique booming vocals.

The second record "Only One," recruits Bobby J From Rockaway and Boston duo Blak Madeen for a vibrant feel-good collaboration. Over a chunky groovy backdrop made of jazz elements and punchy drums, the trio pays homage to their respective hometown while dropping a healthy dose of bravado for the fun of it.

The final track "The Judgement,"  reunites Brand Nubian members Sadat X and Lord Jamar , who deliver that classic BN conscious raps we all grew up on. The duo explores the deplorable state of affairs with the black man and the powers that be. As usual, Lord Jamar holds nothing back and charges the government for creating an oppressive system and Sadat X follows suit with a visceral chorus to match.

The maxi-single also contains instrumental versions for all three tracks and the full album these tracks are off is titled To Live For The People and will be released in late 2022 on SpitSLAM. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to punksforautism.com.
