Multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer Daniel Blume shares visuals for his single "On The Side." The self-produced single is an upbeat dance number with a sad theme that happens to be his forte.
He employs a wide range of sounds on this tune, from bright arpeggios, lush synths, moody strings, wobbly basslines, and a gripping four to the floor drum groove to complete the mission. On the vocal side of things, Blume holds his own and delivers a heartfelt performance ripe with evocative lyrics that explore the emotions of an individual who feels used by a lover, in other words, he is the side piece in the relationship.
The track is accompanied by a live performance of Blume as he sets up his production unit in the woods. The theme taps into the feelings of being isolated and dejected from everything else but on another note, the drone shots are purely orgasmic. "On The Side," is the first track to be released from his forthcoming new EP.
Daniel Blume started classical training as a young child, earning a spot at the world-renowned Yehudi Menuhin School, studying guitar and piano all funded via a scholarship set up by The Rolling Stones. At the age of 15, Daniel won the BBC’s Young Composer of the Year Award but his destiny changed after falling in love with electronic music and he hasn't looked back since.
