"KEEP IT A BUCK" is the lead single from LA rapper Trizz and Kansas City producer MIKE SUMMERS's (aka Seven) forthcoming collaborative project. The track sets the tone for the duo with its gloomy, atmospheric soundscape laced with that solid west coast bounce. Trizz on the other hand, understood the assignment, bringing his a-game to the microphone. With his unique carefree drawl and bravado, Trizz also reminds us that he doesn't have time to waste on things that don't bring him joy or money. Lines like "I'm fed up, I'm just trying to get my bread up/ If I ever fall down, ama stand up/ ama man up, bump my fist and put my hands up" show his perseverance in the face of adversity and give credence to his hustler mentality.
The duo first connected through West Coast veteran rapper Brotha Lynch Hung when he collaborated with MIKE SUMMERS.
Trizz has released several projects with Chuuwee and worked with artists such as Tech N9ne, Rittz, Brotha Lynch Hung, CunninLynguists, Bizarre (D12), Rob $tone, G Perico and more.
MIKE SUMMERS was a producer for the Strange Music label and produced tracks for Tech N9ne, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg and Mac Miller to mention a few.
