London band KHARTOUM have returned with a new single called "Chromosomes". Following up their engaging recent singles "Ten People" and "I Was Born", this track finds the band once again providing a vivid blend of psych-rock, indie, and alternative. Containing colorful instrumentation and evocative vocals packed with dense, surreal lyricism, "Chromosomes" makes for an otherworldly listen.

“Chromosomes” opens with raw, energizing drums that merge with driving bass lock in an engaging groove. As wailing guitars soar atop the rhythm section, the song picks up an exciting pace, setting the stage for its sharply-crafted vocals. Building enticingly during the verses, the song explodes into a momentous chorus that showcases the group’s keen ear for focused, ear-worm melodies.

The latest from KHARTOUM, “Chromosomes” is a vital blend of psych rock and indie that continues the band’s prolific streak of playful, adrenaline-fuelled offerings. With colourful songwriting featuring surreal lyricism and powerful instrumentation, this track makes for a thought-provoking, infectious listen.
