Promising country talent Jason Maxwell delivers emotional country-pop single “For Now,” weaving vulnerable lyricism into an anthemic soundscape that perfectly complements it. Written as a straight-from-the-heart letter to his ex-girlfriend, the track explores the coming apart of a relationship within infectious melodies.

With deep vocals and a feel-good, guitar-led soundscape, “For Now,” manages to tug at your heartstrings with its honest message even as the soft sonics has us reaching for the replay button. Recorded in the world’s heart of country music, Nashville’s renowned Blackbird Studios, the heartfelt production is rooted in Maxwell’s trademark authenticity.
