East London, UK rapper/producer Chris Budden makes his entry on EM with the visual for his heartfelt single "Confessions" which sees him cleaning out the proverbial closet. The track which was written by Budden and co-produced with Cee Figz is a smooth blend of R&B textures with trap sensibilities. The rapper delivers his lines in a mild autotuned melodic fashion and takes listeners deep into the many things that have been on his mind. From lusting after voluptuous women, losing close friends, and finding himself in the doldrums, Budden pours it all on wax and leaves no stone unturned.
For the accompanying music video for "Confessions", which was shot in South London, Budden collaborated with video director Lutch who help bring the track to life with his avant-garde stylish concept. Shot in black and white, blending performance shots, still shots, and cinematic effects, visuals get a short glimpse of Budden's lifestyle and more.
Chris Budden made his debut appearance on UK rap icon Yungen’s 2016 single "Every Night Late Night" and he hasn't looked back since. He has since released two mixtapes and currently working on a full-length project with "Confessions" as the lead single.
