UK singer-songwriter Raelle 's newest release titled "Grace" sees her stepping into new territory as she employs elements from mid-tempo pop vibes laced with orchestral aesthetics to boot. The record sees her teaming up with Gabriel Gifford to deliver a heartfelt tale of finding her way out of depression and the proverbial dark place. Raelle's airy vocals take precedence and engulf the somber backdrop with much vigor as she runs through the dark emotions of being overwhelmed by life itself. She digs deep, confronts her fears, and reaches the conclusion that the only one who can save her is herself.
"Grace" come off the heels of her recent performance at The Royal Albert Hall and is the first of a string of singles to be released over course of the year.
Raelle is part of a new refreshing wave of Neo-soul artists from London. She started her musical journey as a child growing up in a Jamaican household in southeast London, listening to an array of musical talent, but what really seemed to speak to her was the tunes of '70s Soul. She developed this natural interest attending live music jams and jazz nights across the capital, which finally saw her releasing her first single in 2020. She also released her debut EP Wake up Sunshine in July 2021 through DMY artists.
