Critically acclaimed duo ÄTNA recently put out their sophomore album Push Life and at the same time they share a music video for their single "I See Love." The upbeat off-kilter pop number is an exploration of love in the true sense and also captures the duo's unfiltered expressionist songwriting. Powered by lead vocalist Inéz's sultry and somewhat inflected vocals and a bouncy and highly rhythmic backdrop, the record once again shows this duo's unique style that keeps pushing the bar and reminds us that none of their releases sound the same.
The accompanying visuals directed by Moses Schneider are set in a faraway land where a team of explorers is on a quest to find this pure element called love and on the way they find more than meets the heart. The aesthetics have a dream-like feel and the dystopian backdrop and costumes also add a certain Dune-like vibe to it all.
Eclectic German pop duo ÄTNA released their debut LP Made By Desire in 2020 and have gone on to work with names like Solomun and MEUTE amongst other acts. The duo made up of Demian and Inez has continued their brand of music that caters to ambiguity and tolerance in an era where being true to oneself is absolutely required. "I See Love" is taken from their new LP Push Life. The project explores queerness, self-discovery, love, and being brave while delivering a mix of playful dance tunes that also challenge the norm.
