UK singer-songwriter Akemi Fox shares her new single "See You Soon" as she prepares for her forthcoming sophomore EP, in partnership with Northern powerhouse NQ Records and Virgin Music. The guitar-laden tune exudes pure feel-good summer vibes and Akemi's lush melodic runs. She delivers a soul-grabbing performance with a lovelorn story. Akemi is in her element through entrancing vocal harmonies and inflections that weave seamlessly over the crisp guitar arrangements and soft bouncy drum grooves provided by Swindle.

"See You Soon" as Akemi describes it, is a form of confession of love for someone and reinforces the feeling of wanting to meet with them soon to relive the good moments. It's a smooth blend of R&B, a touch of soul and a little bit of Pop catchiness as well.

Akemi Fox made a big spalsh with her debut EP Colour You In, which led to Akemi Fox performing at Manchester International Festival, collaborating with Adidas and VERSUS on their ‘Made In Manchester’ series. She has since worked with acts such as the Manchester hip-hop/soul duo Children Of Zeus and producer Maths Time Joy amongst others.
