Brooklyn multi-instrumentalists A.M. Boys offer the first glimpse of forthcoming debut album , Distance Decay with anthemic track “A.M. Theme,” which brings groovy drums and percussion together with hazy synths.
The track layers cheerful looped chants of “A and M” over blissful vocals, coming to life as a self-confident production meant to rouse hope for the future. Described by the duo as “ an elemental A.M. Boys track,” it is the first song that seasoned musicians John Blonde and Chris Moore wrote and played live as the creative unit of A.M. Boys, infused with their electrifying collaborative energy.
With uplifting melodies which captures the musical pair’shope for the future, as it lays the ethereal yet minimalistic foundation for the upcoming 10-track album, which is set to capture the sentiment of less is more with its stripped back and emotive exploration of an intricate and intimate sound – groovy “A.M. Theme,” being the first step in the journey to come.
