DJ, singer, songwriter and musician Hello Lightfoot has just released a riveting groovy indie pop banger entitled "Slaughterhouse" as the third single and first release of the year from this exciting newcomer.

With "Slaughterhouse," Hello Lightfoot explores how there are many sides to a story, particularly in a romantic relationship. The song also explores self sabotage when one doesn't express their true feelings and how restraint can leave someone powerless. She confides, "I was imagining the fact that good love stories have three characters; each person’s version of reality, and actual reality." The track thrills with driving melodic grunge filled guitars, spy-infused seductive vocals and an infectious chorus. "Slaughterhouse" is a genre-defying thrilling indie pop single filled with elements of trip hop, rock and soul, further highlighting the song's narrative of mixed emotions.

Hello Lightfoot is the new musical project from Jessica Louise Dye who is a well known NYC DJ and frontwoman of the surf rock collective High Waisted. The multidimensional artist is known for throwing unique and decadent parties where her high energy DJ sets delight. With Hello Lightfoot the artist has pursued new musical territory leaning into more luminous pop.

Take a listen to "Slaughterhouse" now and remember don't hold back your true feelings.
