Emerging South African musician, DJ, and producer BOSSIIE, shares the visuals of her new Amapiano single titled "Covid Blues." The mellow hypnotic tune dives into loneliness and longing for the right human touch after the global lockdown dealt the entire world a deadly blow. BOSSIIE delivers a sultry vocal performance that is ripe with unapologetic lyrics displaying what she needs at the moment. Written, composed, and produced by BOSSIIE and MFR Souls, the infectious track is driven by her captivating amapiano soundscapes and laced with lush R&B and mellow afro house sensibilities.
The visuals are directed by burgeoning British filmmaker Miles Gould, who helps capture BOSSIIE's natural beauty and stylish performance style. The director fuses intimate cut scenes and cinematic shots in a seamless manner while exploring the lovelorn theme in the song. Overall, it has a dreamy and somewhat sublime feel as well.
"Covid Blues" is the second single from her upcoming sophomore EP titled Porsche Music.
