Western Canada-based experimental producer Factor Chandelier shares his new single "Sleep Upside Down" which sees him linking with LA-based emcee Open Mike Eagle. The result is an uplifting tune ripe with evocative and hopeful lyrics from Open Mike effortlessly flows over the progressive and cinematic production from Factor. The soundscape is layered and quite dynamic as it ebb and flows into upbeat and mellow sections ripe with anthemic horns, somber strings, and rollicking African percussions. “Sleep Upside Down” is taken from his new album, Time Invested II.
Factor Chandelier has been at the forefront of crafting experimental and cinematic instrumental projects such as his Eastlake LP. A project that is built on raw, multi-layered, genre-bending sounds with roots in hip-hop and he plans to do more on his forthcoming album.
