After teaming up with Fashawn for a smooth collaboration a while back, Trizz returns with something cryptic in the form of his new single "Back to the Basement." Once again, he teams up with his longtime collaborator Stone's Neighbor who helps him with an ominous piano-laden backdrop that feels like a scene from a B-horror flick. Trizz is in his bag as well as he brings forth a dark persona on wax. From the off-kilter and vivid lyricism and devil-may-care demeanor, he lays the law on the opposition and warns them to stay clear of him at all costs.
"Back to the Basement" is Trizz's second single of 2022 and while no official project has been announced, the LA rapper seems to have more music in store for listeners. For those who might not know, the title of the song is inspired by Trizz's 2019 album The Basement.
