South Carolina-based artist Rob Biggaveli is back with his new LP Never Or Now, a 14 track body of work that blends hard-hitting trap soundscapes with his distinct rap style that takes elements from his life and more. He handles most of the vocal duties but he also brings in rising acts such as King Murph, SKULLY, MARCO, SPLASH, Renni Ricci, Yak Gotti, TK Kravitz, Unfoonk, DoughBoy D, and Kount Up Wit Da K.
The project opens up with the solemn "Tryna Ball" which details his struggles as detractors try to derail him from his goals. On "Foreign" the production switches with its bass-heavy production which blends with Biggaveli's melodic flow and off-kilter performance style. On here, he takes listeners into his life of excesses filled with foreign cars and ladies. The energy stays on high on tracks like "The City," and "Just Like Me," both tracks are made up of energetic trap soundscapes while Rob displays his vibrant style. On the latter, he teams up with Renni Ricci who adds a solid verse to the mix. On "I'm The Man," Biggaveli teams up with SKULLY and MARCO for a heartfelt and reflective tune that explores loyalty, friendship and love.
The project ends with the solemn piano-laden "Late Nights" with Joe Gifted which explores his sleepless nights and sacrifices in order to make it in this unpredictable music industry. Again, he sticks to what he knows and delivers a smooth melodic performance ripe with honesty and some insight into his life. Overall Never Or Now, is Biggaveli's life story on wax. From the successes, failures, personal loss, and come-ups, Rob has seen it all and is making the best out of it.
Biggaveli was born in New York but then moved to South Carolina when he was 16. He dropped his debut project in 2018 and followed up with some singles the following year with Never Or Now being his latest body of work.
