Playfully honest pop artist Flo Gallop doesn’t feel “sorry for you, mate”

South-east London-based pop artist Flo Gallop has a handful of singles under her belt since she started releasing music last year. Her voice carries such vigor, giving all of her cheeky pop singles more of a punch. And her latest single, “sorry for you, mate”, is a feisty pop anthem that inspires listeners to get those negative people out of your life.

Honesty and spirit. That’s all we can really ask for out of an artist, and Flo brings it to the table. The tracks could be described as having a slight Spanish style with its snaps, claps, and the sweet, ringing guitar plucks. However, the chorus smoothly blends into a full-on pop beat, complemented by Flo’s confident attitude.

Flo is just at the beginning of her career, but she has a strong goal in mind when writing. She shared, “I hope the music inspires people to dance and be happy when they’re listening to it. If something is not quite right in their lives or as good as it could be, maybe something as simple as one of my lyrics might inspire them to change it.”

Keep her in your mind as 2022 is sure to be her year.
