When it comes to reminiscing, the new song by Montae Harri$, "Saint Regis," takes the cake. The guitar-driven record sees him reflecting on his past tribulations and falling out with close friends whom he thought had his back. He adds that these situations helped him grow as a man. It's far from painting a perfect picture of himself but rather a well-balanced view of things as he takes the good with the bad and learns from both ends. He delivers his bars with a melodic tone and calm demeanor that displays his current inner peace.
The visual shot by MACH5MONTAE (Montae Harri$'s directing moniker) on an iPhone makes use of different performance shots of the rapper and it's quite straightforward in its DIY style of approach.
