Recording music since the young age of 16, Steve Okolo (best known as his moniker $tevoxcv) has been curating his sleek personal blend of hip-hop, pop and afrobeats. On this latest cut, the rapper explores his vulnerability and gets intimate with his past. Reflecting on his life so far, $tevoxcv's punchy verses ooze creativity with his lyrical boldness crafting an explorative narrative that proves he's an inherent storyteller. Touching on subjects such as imposter syndrome, adulthood, success and dreams, "Life" is an autobiographical track laced with witty bars and wavy production.
Telling us more about the track, $tevoxcv says the single was "created at a down point in my life, where I was dealing with a lot of doubt and not knowing what the future holds. I still do not know what the future holds, but I am in a much better space now, especially as I have got the opportunity to share this record with the world.”
