Saba has linked up with legendary Cleveland rapper Krayzie Bone of the GRAMMY Award-winning group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony for new single “Come My Way.” This collaboration is the third single for his upcoming solo album Few Good Things, which drops on February 4th.
Saba, as expected, delivers various flows and executes his creative abilities as he raps in each verse, with the second verse introducing Krayzie Bone. He spits about where he's at and reminding folk of who he is with his unique layered vocals original melodic rapping style. One that he should be absolutely given the credit for popularizing if not pioneering into today's game. Produced by both Daoud and daedaePIVOT, who are both members of Pivot Gang out of Chicago, the steady tempo makes you want to play this with the windows down on a slow drive.
Referring to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Saba shares, “I started paying attention and really learning how to rap from listening to them and trying to recite it. It felt honest and completely true to themselves — authentic in a way that doesn’t come around very often and in a way that will be impossible to recreate. Their mix of melody and rhythms that I had never heard is what connected with me in a way that other music just didn’t. It inspired me to be more creative."
Gearing up for a two month tour around Europe in March and the US in April, Saba will be globe-trotting along with supporting acts Lute, Amindi, Enny, and Gaidaa. The tickets are available now, along with pre-orders for a Few Good Things.
