London newcomer Aseia makes a memorable first impression with debut single “Trial and Error,” giving us a first look at his raw songwriting abilities and emotion-drenched vocals. With an experimental combination of anti-pop and hyper-pop, the South Africa-hailing talent takes us through the journey of his on-off relationship with a high school sweetheart.

Built on glitchy drums and live instrumentation, the track produced Yosha is infused with hopeful and romantic notes as the young musician reflects on his desire to try and make things work with his love, led by an infectious chorus that’s sure to capture our hearts. Brimming with a maturity that belies his age of 23, the powerful production is the perfect introduction to the emerging act as he stands on the cusp of his music career.

After being exposed to a fast life of parties and substance abuse that led to him dropping out of school at 17, Aseia’s passion for music brought him back to a path with purpose. Having attended the British Institute of Modern Music, the young singer equipped himself with the technical skill that takes his heartfelt, personable slices of pop music to the next level – and after his catchy debut, the only way is up for this rising star.
