Sister duo Krewella collaborate with brother duo BEAUZ on "Never Been Hurt"

Sister duo Krewella explores taking a leap of faith in love on groovy offering “Never Been Hurt,” featuring Asian-American duo BEAUZ. Infusing a hypnotic deep house style into their signature hard-hitting sound, the sultry track balances Krewella’s sensual delivery with BEAUZ’s baritone verses to make for earworm late-night mood music.

With distorted vocal stylings punctuated by pulsing beats, the melodic production harkens to UK garage sounds, embellished by polished pop instrumentals. While the sonics build on both duo’s edgy sensibilities, the song writing is more emotive delving into the intimacy of opening yourself up to love after being hurt by it.

Carrying an optimistic message about healing from past loss and trauma, Krewella allow brothers Bernie and Johan Yang – who form BEAUZ – to shine with their classic yet genre-blending rock vibes.  Having written the song a few years ago, sisters Jahan and Yasmine appear to have found their perfect foil in the brothers who add an infectious bassline to elevate the dark but dreamy instrumentation of “Never Been Hurt.”

The sister pair who exploded onto the scene in 2012 with their debut self-released EP Play Hard have gone from strength to strength to delivering  their carefully crafted combination of ethereal vocals and punchy energy .Now on this latest offering, aided by BEAUZ’s production chops, Krewella prove to be consistently evolving their vocal-led musicality as they get excitement levels up for upcoming music.
