Dating is not easy. It is especially hard to date in Los Angeles where there are certain people who pretend to be something they are not. Jen Awad’s new single “Fallin For Me” narrates the facades people portray and how quickly someone can be fooled by love. Atop western style arrangements, her gravelly, soulful vocals passionately sing of her immense pain. The accompanying visuals also possess that same grit, opening with the singer literally crawling through dirt. With electrifying lighting and burning fire, the single and visuals are the ultimate burn offering to anyone who broke your heart.

Peruvian-Egyptian LA-based artist Jen Awad is known for her fierce sound, melding Amy Winehouse and Tina Turner. Her powerful vocals take listeners on a journey through captivating storytelling. The release is off her upcoming '80s inspired album Exisential Daydream.  Jen Awad reveals, “'Fallin For Me' is about a con artist social climber who fooled me into thinking he was all about me. Mimicking my every word and gesture to win me over… and sadly it worked. He taught me what it really meant to be loved bombed and gaslighted.”
