British Nigerian Afropop twin sister duo El'Vee shares the visuals for their new single "Roll Wiv U" featuring Nigerian singer-songwriter Peruzzi. The dancehall-tinged track is as vibrant and sensual as they come. It displays the duo's unapologetic sensuality while showing off their artistic versatility and paying homage to their favorite dancehall classics, with Peruzzi adding the perfect cherry on top with his distinct vocal runs. Bolstered by the heavy and club-ready production by Tiwezi and The Animal Farm, El'Vee delivers a sexy tune that blends dancehall raunchiness with Afropop elements in a seamless manner.
For the accompanying music video, El’Vee head to Nigeria to collaborate with burgeoning video director Tobi Ayeni who helps bring the dancehall energy of the track further to life in the visuals. Shot at the Man Cave in Lagos, the video captures a sexy night out and dance party at the club, with twin sisters El’Vee taking center stage and showing off their performance prowess, infectious personalities, and owning their sexuality and divine femininity. The sisters add via email that the idea of the visual is to display a confident woman who is comfortable in her femininity and sexuality and isn't afraid to shoot her shot.
"Roll Wiv U" is the follow-up to their previous releases "Balotelli" and "Money." This record is the latest offering from the twin sister’s upcoming long-awaited debut EP that is set to be released in 2022.
