Have you ever heard someone say, your ex is an ex for a reason? Well sometimes that chapter of your life is better left in the past, but that is not always the case. Montreal artist J.Fernandez’s single “Spicy” is all about reconnecting with an ex-lover and being completely mesmerized by their transformation. With trap-fueled drums and fiery R&B/ pop vocals there is something so hypnotic about this release. He seductively sings, “She listens to pop, techno and Nirvana/ she’s my spicy hot little mama.”

J.Fernandez is a 28-year-old artist creating bold music that encourages others to always strive to be their best. He hopes that through his music listeners resonate and really feel something deep. Taking influence from Drake and J Cole, his releases are so passionate. You can really feel that intensity oozing off “Spicy”. He shares, “The song came together not long after I reconnected with the girl it’s about. She had changed so much since I last saw her and it inspired me.”
