Rising alt-pop artist RAEYA delivers enchanting single “Just Wanna Say,” offering an intricate combination of electronica, indie and pop with a touch of folk that transports us into RAEYA’s own tale of pain and suffering.

Showcasing her knack for creative instrumentation as well as shining a light on her ethereal vocal timbre, ,”Just Wanna Say,” vibrates with hope and pain in equal measures. Inspired by her own experiences “of feeling like hard times will never end” and written with the intention to encourage people, the track is an emotive offering with an empowering narrative. It achieves a delicate balance between conflicting feelings, first reflecting on low points and then on the upliftment that comes from moving on from them.

Effortlessly moving through sections of soft instrumentals held together by the thread of poignant songwriting,”Just Wanna Say,” showcases a hazy instrumental the brings gentle synths together with a subtle sprinkling of piano and guitar, underpinned by the young artist’s melodic vocals lending a cinematic feel to a classic alt-pop soundscape.

Following up on her stripped-back offering “This is It,” this reverb-laden production establishesRAEYA’s versatility as it flips her artistry around, leaving behind the minimalism of her previous release and instead going in full throttle with its rich swirl of sonics.

With a musicality that reminds of Imogen Heap and Taylor Swift, this new offering establishes RAEYA as an artist with a promising future, providing an enticing hint of the hypnotic music is crafting for release in the coming year.
