It's been a minute since we heard from singer/songwriter Fih but she is back with a new single, "Can You?" which sees her teaming up with producer Jahad. The producer takes cues from late 90s, early 2000s R&B aesthetics and crafts this mid-tempo bouncy track that blends seamlessly with Fih's sultry vocals and confident demeanor. Fih is in her element and confidently explores the Carpe Diem element of being enamored by that certain individual who might just be there for a while or the rest of one's life. Regardless, Fih is all about the positives and wants to savor the moment a much as possible.
From Fih's sublime sultry melodies and hip-hop-infused cadences, to the nostalgic backdrop to boot, "Can You?" is the perfect summer jam for the final bbq cookout and house party rendezvous. "Can You?" is Fih's third single following “Recipe” (prod. by Ehll Evans) and “Sit Back” (prod. by Jahad). No project seems to be attached to the song but she is probably back in the studio on a full-length body of work, we just have to wait and see.
