Canadian Cameroonian singer/songwriter Erockfor follows up her last single, "I Don't Want You Back" with something new, titled "Sacral." While her previous singles focused on her escaping an abusive relationship, "Sacral" lunges into the sensual department.
Erockfor has already revealed enough of her pain and now it's time to get to the pleasure part. It was written by Erockfor and produced by LA-based electronic musician Blaire Michael, who employs a dark-pop aesthetic while her commanding vocal runs play the central role. Inspired by her time as a Burlesque dancer in South Korea, Erockfor channels her sexuality to the fullest as she sings "Break the chains, put it all down, take the ashes, make a crown" and implores women that there is an innate power that lies within them.
"Sacral" is Erockfor's third single taken from her forthcoming debut album PHOENIX, which arrives in October. Her creative outlets also extend beyond music, as the Canadian Cameroonian native is also revered as a burlesque performer, actress, and published poet.
She will be releasing a new single every month in the lead-up to the album.
