NYC-based glam punk band Damn Jackals’ new single “Lovely Nuthin’” is perfect for your rambunctious summer adventures. Usually producing proto-punk/garage rock sounds, the band adds a surf and doo-wop feel to this new track. The lux harmonizing guitars and it’s blissfully crisp crooning from lead singer Beau Croxton gives modern day Beach Boys vibes, making you want to play it loud while you drive along the coast.

Summery high-pitched guitar riffs turn this track into a hypnotic, wild ride. The guitar fuzz feels like the sun beaming on your skin. Lead singer Beau Croxton’s vocals serenade in a modern way, similar to Alex Turner of The Arctic Monkeys.

The band hasn’t released any music since their debut LP Crooked Castle, Vol.1, having tours and shows fill up their schedule. As "Lovely Nuthin'" proves, that time away only made them better, maturing in and experimenting with their sound to create something great.
