Founded by members Mark McKenna, Conor Gorman, Conor King and Morgan Wilson, the group united to create the Dublin-based alternative pop band, milk. Unlike actual milk, this band is anything but ordinary. Last year, they released their first EP, gathering thousands to millions of listens. Now, they’re prepared to release their second EP within the next few months. Until then, they’ve just released their newest track “In LA” to get their fans hyped for what’s to come.

milk. is a difficult band to pin down to just one genre. They aren’t afraid of taking advantage of the technology around them, blending electropop productions with rock guitars and RnB beats. This track, in particular, has a head-banging guitar hook paired well with layered and smokey vocals. It’s likely to intrigue fans of The 1975 or The Cure.

As for the inspiration behind the song, the band said, "’In LA’ was written all at once, in around thirty minutes just after Mark had left the city, following a conversation with a taxi driver. It’s about the stereotype of LA as a superficial place and how heavily social status and celebrity influence the people that live there. Everybody in LA is trying to be somebody."

milk. is making 2021 their year to shine with an upcoming headline tour including sold-out dates in London and Dublin. Them, they’ll be playing songs from their sophomore EP due out this summer, so be sure to stay tuned.
