Genre-bending Paris-based singer-songwriter TENNIN takes the less-traveled path on her new self-written record titled "TENNIZER" —an alternative electronic pop and futuristic R&B record that sees the Parisian paying homage to certain individuals who help light up our spirits in dark times.
She teams up with producers Broken Shadow and Finnish producer Jonas Jonas Verwijnen who help create a dark and trippy backdrop that doesn't seem to tick any major genre box. At times, the arrangement sounds off but looking closer, it was intentionally designed to widen the dynamics of the song. TENNIN on the other hand knows the drill and engulfs the beat with her off-kilter melodic performance and even switches it up with short raps on the chorus section. The icing on the cake is definitely her soft sultry melodic runs which build up into a mesmerizing frenzy as the song progresses.
