Nyce Da Future and Havoc are the "Boss Of The Bosses"

We head into the borough of Queens in the heart of NY on this timely collaboration between Nyce Da Future and Havoc of the legendary Mobb Deep rap crew. With the unfortunate demise of Prodigy a few years back, Havoc has been holding up the Mobb Deep banner every way that he can. On this new effort, he and fellow Queens native Nyce Da Future are working on a collaborative EP and in the interim share the lead single "Boss Of The Bosses" to warm up the streets.

"Boss Of The Bosses" is produced by Havoc who crafts a melancholic beat ripe with moody strings and gritty punchy drums. It is more pristine than his earlier productions and is a testament to his growth as a legendary producer. As a rapper, Havoc has always held his own and he opens the track dropping gems every now and then for listeners to latch onto. He reflects on his status as an elder statesman and reminds us of his pedigree in the rap game. He sets up the song nicely for Nyce Da Future who contemplates building and making something positive out of the little he has.

Nyce Da Future hasn't actually dropped a full project in a long while so this upcoming collab EP with Havoc, Future of the Streets, marks a return of sorts. Get it on all DSPs here.
