Last Friday, English songstress Ruti dropped a new song "My Sunrise". The laid-back single is a beautiful glimpse of what Ruti's going to deliver in her brand new EP coming out next month. Her ethereal vocals of neo-soul sizzler are sends shivers down the spine.
The song's bewitching first five seconds of the track is paramount enough for anyone to decide to add to your playlists. At only age 21, the Essex-born singer-songwriter's potential is on display. Coming off wining The Voice UK in 2018, she released a cover of The Cranberries' "Dreams", that shot to the top of the iTunes charts. Since then, she put out her debut EP, Racing Cars in 2019. Now as an independent artist, she is gearing up to continue her streak of success.
The modern soul sound is brushed on the canvas by the production of Wayne Wilkins. He produced on her last EP and her most recent release, "Closer to You" of last summer. Wilkins is known for his work with Beyoncé, Natasha Bedingfield, Jordin Sparks and Leona Lewis. To say the least, Ruti is working with high-level and experienced musicians.
“My Sunrise” is the second installment to Ruti’s forthcoming EP, out in February.
