BMac started out as a gifted athlete, excelling in the world of football and wrestling. Swamped with scholarship offers and such, a torn meniscus abruptly ended his athletic plans, he turned into a newfound love in the arts while he was rehabilitating. The Southern California raised rapper's latest release "Far From Home" is a bright mid-tempo tune that focuses on a relationship gone sour. Produced by his brother Camuncensored, "Far From Home" is provides a pop-inspired, R&B/rap infused backdrop for BMac's silky melodic vocals. The emotional lyrics reflect on both the good and bad times in a relationship.
The visuals really play into the theme of the song and give the viewer a glimpse into how a seemingly great relationship can go south due to insecurities. BMac plays the estranged lover here who has moved on from his ex whom we later see with someone new. The video also makes use of different scenes shot along the cliffs of Malibu and a particularly striking one near the sea.
"Far From Home" is taken from his debut LP scheduled for a 2021 release date. All his songs and videos are under his label LTNT Records, an abbreviation for Like There’s No Tomorrow, run by himself and his brother Camuncensored.
