Boys Get Hurt shares a chill disco gem called "Only Midnight"

Boys Get Hurt always manages to bring the cutest, chilled energy to his music. Over the years, the Tokyo-based producer has often paired with labels like Kitsuné and Toolroom Records, both known for their sophisticated and trendy synth pop and poolside nu disco. Yuki Abe, the mastermind behind Boys Get Hurt, describes his music as being influenced by that melancholy feeling of longing for summer. It’s perfect for any season, but does come at an appropriate time for those of us currently shifting into fall. His newest single “Only Midnight” taps into that signature Boys Get Hurt sound for one of his most addicting songs to date.

“Only Midnight” certainly captures the spirit of cooler weather. The track’s dreamy production, scintillating synths, and crisp beats come together with vocals from singer Tiago to give it this warm, snuggly late-night feeling. Its breezy pace and disco bounce are contagious if you want to dance, but the track is also perfect if you’re feeling like more laid-back activities. Either way, it's a pleasurable listening experience. Boy Get Hurt’s single “Only Midnight” is out now via Japanese label VLS
