Hip-hop artist, Hoodie Mitch, kicked off the weekend with his new track "SZN 25." Having just turned 25, the raw and honest song reflects the young musician's life as a Black man in America. Living in a racially-driven period, Mitch couldn't have dropped his new track at a better time.

Produced by Young Swisher, "SZN 25" opens up with blaring horns and brash raps of the drum. The high energy opener sulks off into a smooth, jazzy instrumental with head-nodding 808s. Mitch immediately dives into the track, delivering poignant verses. Expressing outrage and pain, his conscious lyrics mirror the racial and social injustices the black community has suffered for decades. Highlighting the unjustifiable deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, he continues to shed light on the current racial disparities in America. Continuing in a cathartic manner, Mitch leaves it all on the track.

Hailing from New York, Hoodie Mitch has been working hard to deliver what the rap game is missing. Opening up for artists from the Dreamville camp and Curren$y, he has been putting his skillful artistry on display. Intertwining contemporary flows with complex lyricism, Mitch is creating music that will continue to push the needle forward.
