Los Angeles-via-Tokyo rapper MadeinTYO is back with a new single "Square Bitch," featuring New York hitmaker A$AP Ferg. The track was produced by Godzay Katana, a recent signee to Tokyo's publishing company, Madeinsounds.
"Square Bitch" is driven by a booming bass and filled out by the industrial drone of the accompanying percussion. A$AP Ferg's unmistakeable ad-libs dance around MadeinTYO's blasé delivery as he chants, "Square bitch shut up." The track is simultaneously playful and menacing, serving as a brazen warning to get out of the way.
The single is the latest in a string of collaborations between MadeinTYO and A$AP Ferg, most notably the 2018 hit song "Ned Flanders." The two rappers also partnered on Ferg's latest album Floor Seats.
