Irish-Iranian songwriter and producer Glassio shares the breezy new single "One Of These Days." Plumped with lightweight electronics and pop sequences, the single conjures feelings of pure nostalgia with its iridescent '80s sparkles.
Uplifting spirits throughout, "One of These Days" is an ode to overcoming personal struggles. Delving into self-acceptance and loneliness, the single's shiny synth patterns make all those pains feel weightless. Enhanced with glossy electronics, the track greets us with a glimmering embrace, promising to guide us into a more hopeful headspace. “I wanted to write a song that could help people who have felt bullied or silenced," says Glassio. "Something that could serve as a hopeful, dance-y and optimistic song about feeling accepted whilst getting their message across. Like most of us, I’ve had the misfortune of knowing some pretty awful people in my life. This song is about all of them and me wanting to break away and fully accept myself for who I am.”
Hitting repeat on this track a number of times will have you longing for a long car journey. It's delicate sounds make for a truly infectious listen.
